Wild camping – and specifically understanding the UK law regarding sleep – is a window into Britain's soul. This talk covers UK land law, why we live in what many people consider an unequal society where almost 50% of land is controlled by 1% of the population; how a 1,000 year old land system drafted to legalise land theft resulted in something wonderful: 1) the most unequal land distribution on earth that gave birth to 2) the most extensive footpath network in the world.
